The Old Michigan Rag

The election polls are currently favoring Barack Obama, and the tide may soon be turning more strongly in his favor. John McCain is pulling his resources out of the battleground state of Michigan.
Michigan is a state where Obama was considered very weak, in part because of the state Democratic party being in disarray and working-class white suspicion of Obama based on race. But if Obama is pulling well ahead here, he should do well elsewhere.
