Palm Sunday commemorates the day Jesus arrived in Jerusalem and had palm fronds thrown at His feet as He and His disciples walked through the streets.
When I was twelve, I told my father that it must have been a big cleanup job for Jerusalem's street cleaning department.
My father was not amused by this joke. :-O
