One bit of good news involved Barack Obama's fundraising prowess. He only came in a million dollars behind Hillary Clinton ($25 million as opposed to her $26 million), proving that she is not invulnerable.
Plus, the fifteen British servicemen held captive by Iran were freed as a "goodwill gesture" by the Iranians for Easter. (Actually, it was due to a lot of backroom negotiations.) Anyway, if Tony Blair leaves No. 10 Downing Street this year, he can do so on a high note.
By the way, you know what our hostages in Iran got for Easter in 1980? Another Christmas in captivity! But then, when your country's government props up an Iranian monarch his own people despise, you gotta expect that kind of attitude. :-O
