Today I'm announcing a new Blogger-based page of mine, "Pictures of Beautiful Women," which is exactly what it sounds like. I'm posting of pictures of famous (and not-so-famous) women I find attractive, culled from various Web sites. I didn't take any of them, of course, but I like them, and I wanted to find a way to share them. Don't worry, there are no dirty pictures on it. A link to the page is to the left.
Meanwhile, another Blogger-based page of mine has bitten the dust. After getting my page of Family reviews up and running, I thought I could make a similar page for Streetwalkers, the group Roger Chapman and Charlie Whitney formed after disbanding Family. It never got very far. Unlike the Family review page, which I did only after buying and listening to all of their albums, I started the Streetwalkers page before buying and listening to all of their albums. I was never able to gurgle up more than two reviews on that page, the reviews themselves weren't as well-written, and I can't find all of their albums anyway. (I'm still missing their final LP, 1977's Vicious But Fair, generally regarded as mediocre by Roger Chapman fans.) I couldn't tend to it due to various distractions, and I felt it was time to give up on it.
My music-related blog, "Pop Goes the Music," may follow. Although there are other contributors to that page, they write entries very rarely, and most of them are followed by zero comments, meaning that no one is reading any of them. Why keep up a page when no one reads it? My final decision on whether to keep it up or not will be made by early December.
P.S. The link to the fan page for the one-season-wonder ABC sitcom "I'm With Her" is gone, because, well, so is the page. :-(
