The 2006 Nobel Physics Prize Winners

The Nobel Physics Prize for 2006 went to Americans John C. Mather and George F. Smoot for their work that helped cement the "Big Bang" theory of the birth of the universe. Using
measurements done with input from NASA's COBE satellite, the two scientists got to observe the universe in its early stages about 380,000 years after it was born. They also found ripples in the light that explained the formation of galaxies over time.
Since this contradicts the Genesis story of how the universe was created, and since this study used data from a govenrment agency, you can expect the Christian Coaliton and likeminded groups to protest this development. :-O
