I'm on Flickr!!!!
I've been going onto Flickr.com for weeks now, looking at other people's photographs, lamenting my inability to post photos on the Internet site owing to the fact that I don't have a digital camera. Then a friend of mine from Flickr told me you could get pictures developed on a compact disc even if the camera is disposable. So I took a whole set of pictures with a disposable outdoor camera - mostly of my car, other people's antique cars (like at the local Independence Day parade), and interesting streetscapes - and got a CD made of them. I transferred them to my PC, and the rest is history. :-) I've posted nine of the 27 exposures from my camera already; the other two-thirds are coming later. (Flickr has limits on how many pictures you can upload at a time.)
I never thought I'd be computer-savvy enough to figure out how to post personal pictures on the Web, but I did it. It was so easy for me. Not so for my cousin, who took all the pictures at my maternal grandmother's ninetieth birthday party with a digital camera and lost them trying to post them on his computer. :-O
