I got a job!
I start work tomorrow as a clerk in a law office. I had the interview today, and they hired me on the spot. My 83-day exile from respectable society is over. :-D
So how will this affect my article on Therisa Barber? Probably not very much. I've already written three drafts of it in pencil, and I'm working on the first typed draft right now. :-)
Maybe things are looking up . . .
