Oh yeah, so I don't end this evening on a completely down note . . .. My piano playing is slowly getting better. I'm actually trying to play - can you believe it? - Beethoven's "Fur Elise." I've been trying to practice a little each day, but because of various distractions, that's not always possible. Nevertheless, I think I'm actually doing pretty well. The bass notes remain a sticky wicket for me, though.
"Fur Elise" might seem to be a difficult piece for a beginner, but I figure that if I can play this, I can play anything!
