Okay, New Jerseyans, whether the government shutdown and debt ceiling impasse are resolved in due time or not, we're going to have a special U.S. Senate election this Wednesday (Wednesday?), so here's my recommendation of whom to vote for: This blog endorses Cory Booker unreservedly. Cory Booker has shown a willingness, an ability, and a desire to get constructive things done, while his reactionary Republican opponent Steve Lonegan is just such a f**king twit. So there you are.
So is there a budget deal yet?
