I had a pretty interesting weekend, this last weekend of the age of W. I went to see They Might Be Giants - without knowing any of their songs! - with a friend, and we finally took our Christmas tree down. I shoveled snow from our driveway twice. And the best news I've heard all weekend, apart from the cease-fire in Gaza, is that Volkswagen is finally bringing the Polo to the United States!
