Hoping to show some concern for animal welfare, noted book-banning wolf killer Sarah Palin held a ceremonial Thanksgiving turkey pardon on a poultry farm near her hometown of Wasilla, Alaska. Then she stood in front of a machine being used to behead live turkeys and answered questions about her time in office.
I've seen videos of people torturing dolphins, and this wasn't nearly as gory by any means. But it was still disturbing and unsettling.
There were many turkeys at that farm. The biggest one there was the governor of Alaska. :-O
