One positive outcome about the Iraq War is that the Iraqi people are rid of Saddam Hussein. When he was in power, he aggrandized himself, controlled the flow of Iraqi oil, exterminated people who got in his way - mainly on the basis of their ethnicity or religion - and had a holiday in his honor. We Americans should be proud that we helped the Iraqis get rid of a holiday honoring a genocidal maniac with ambitions to dominate other peoples and their resources.
