I visited Flickr and noticed that several pictures of Marcel Marceau, the world's most famous mime artist, had just been posted there, and I couldn't understand why.
Then I went to my Internet service home page, with the latest news headlines, and found out why - he died yesterday at the age of 84.
What a shame. Everyone loved Marceau. Even people who hated mime loved him.
Please note that I did not make a tasteless joke wondering what his last words were. :-(
