So here's how the play my friend Therisa was in went. . . .
It was a beautifully done production, far better than the production I saw six months ago. Therisa essentially played a sculpture in a living room that comes to life and changes poses in a dream sequence. And guess what - she played the role in her new white ballerina statue costume, not the creepy-looking costume she started out in! Apparently, when I told Setor Attipoe about Therisa's new costume, she asked Therisa to wear that outfit instead, because it made her look more like an objet d'art in someone's living room.
After the play, Therisa, transformed back into herself, came out and spoke to me, and I gave her a rose . . . and a kiss on the cheek. It was a really sweet moment, and I was reminded once again how lucky I am to know her.
She's quite a woman . . .
