An Associated Press story says more black women are considering dating out of their race as available black men are harder to find. So my dating opportunities have increased, but only technically. No matter how much you multiply by zero, it's still zero.
I have nothing in common with most black women my age anyway, as I indicated several months ago. I mean, just once I'd like to meet a black woman under 45 who doesn't like disco, hip-hop, or Barry White. Just once I'd like to meet a black woman who's more likely to read Larry McMurtry than Terry McMillan, or one who prefers Ang Lee movies to Spike Lee movies. It would be like meeting a polite Frenchman, or a German with a sense of humor.
