An Interesting Night

I had an interesting night tonight. I went to a friend's birthday party at an Indian buffet restaurant. I had never eaten Indian food before this, so it was an experience. The food ranged from doughy to spicy. A piece of leavened bread tasted almost like a pancake without syrup.

Then, when I got home, I spoke to someone from my writer's group on the phone for over an hour.
