. . . it's Rachel Maddow.
You may have noticed that Ravel Maddow's MSNBC show has gone from weeknights to Monday nights only. (It's still on at 9 PM Eastern.) This is because Maddow has a new contract that allows her to work more on "special projects," including podcasts, that take up much more of her time an leaves less time for her program.
I don't see much of an upside for MSNBC, as Maddow has been one of they network's biggest draws. In light ofthe tough competition from Fox News, she's probably their only big draw. But then, fewer people seem to be watching able news anyway, and all three major cable news channels are going to have to produce a different definition for success. Apparently, Maddow already has.
P.S. I have been an avid watcher of Lawrence O'Donnell's MSNBC program at 10 PM Eastern, but I've had to take a break from watching it because all he's been talking about are guns. I can get that from watching CNN.
