Reason Number 6,549,431 To Believe That Climate Change Is Real

Temperatures in New Jersey have felt like late August and early September these past few days, and with a cold front approaching today there is a risk for severe thunderstorms.  With heavy rain.  And winds gusting up to 50 or even 55 miles an hour.  In late October.

The severe-thunderstorm risk is "slight," which means the chances for severe weather are actually astronomical.  For New Jersey, a slight severe-weather risk is as slight as the Democratic People's Republic of Korea - North Korea - is democratic and for the people.  Slight is as usually bad as it gets, and we get very bad storms even when the risk is "only" slight.  Imagine what it would be like if it were enhanced or moderate!
I may be back, so long as a wind gust doesn't put a power line on my street or a tree in my living room. >:-(

UPDATE: The "slight risk" was downgraded to a marginal risk, and the severe weather predicted for my area failed to materialize.
