Death-Defying Moment

I had the mother of all close calls yesterday. On my way to work, it was raining and my windshield wiper motor quit, so I took it to the shop. I had to skip a day of work. Ironically, I had intended to take my car on Friday to have one of my tires checked, as I had Good Friday off - the air pressure kept diminishing. Then, later, I noticed another tire losing air. It turns out that both tires were leaking and beyond repair - this on top of my wipers failing during a day that saw periods of heavy rain. That failed wiper motor probably saved me a whole lot of trouble, maybe even my life; I could have easily had a tire blowout!
You can never be too careful.
