An Utter Lack of Importance

I'm being rudely inconvenienced by my e-mail service.
My Internet provider uses something called SmartZone Communications for e-mail,and it's not very smart. It went out today, and the provider still can't provide it. They're working on the problem, and they should have it fixed sometime between February 30 and the first of Octember.
At first I was miffed, since I always check my e-mail for urgent messages. Then it suddenly occurred to me that when I do check my e-mail, it's usually e-mails from liberal activist groups urging me to send yet another form letter to my congressman, message board notifications, and ads from my Internet provider telling me how wonderful SmartZone is.
I thus realized that I don't have to worry about missing important e-mails.
Because I'm not important.
