Five Years Gone In Iraq

Five years . . . five years . . . FIVE FREAKIN' YEARS! The Iraq War has been going on that long, and George Walker Bush still believes we have every right and reason to keep fighting it despite the facts that we can't get the Iraqis to settle lingering hostilities between themselves, we're only helping to inspire more Islamic terrorism, and the war is draining our economy.
Speaking of which, the rally on Wall Street from yesterday proved to be short-lived. Stocks were actually up for much of the day until commodity prices dropped sharply, sending the Dow Jones average down 293 points.
If it's not official, it should be: We're in a recession.
