It really amazes me how George W. Bush can say with a straight face that al-Qaeda is weaker than it would have been had we not gone to Iraq, even as his own government's intelligence report shows that al-Qaeda has regained its pre-9/11 strength and could launch an attack in the U.S. from its Iraqi division. Earth to Bush: On September 10, 2001 - heck, as recently as March 19, 2003 - there was no Iraqi division of al-Qaeda!
And even as we're stuck in a war Bush lied us into - a war that he stifled debate on before we went in - Valerie Plame can't get a fair hearing for her or her husband in court. :-O
