Corzine On the Mend

Governor Corzine of New Jersey got out of the hospital today after more than two weeks recuperating from a car accident on the Garden State Parkway. A few days ago he declared himself to be the most blessed person in the world.
No kidding? After having sustained major injuries in a speeding sport utility vehicle that could have paralyzed him, that remark is going to be hard to accept at face value.
One regret Corzine has is not having worn his seat belt at the time of the accident, and he hopes to set a good example for the youth of New Jersey in the future. One other good way to set an example is not to use an evening driver who's been on the job since five in the morning. Those long hours can screw up your faculties.
