I'm hearing a song on BBC Radio 2 right now by a chap named Jon Redfern, and he's singing about how winter's coming and he can't take the heat. How appropriate, given the 70-degree temperatures we had today in northern New Jersey.
This scares me. It feels like spring in the American Northeast less than a week after New Year's Eve, flowering trees are beginning to blossom, people are golfing, and we have morons in Washington - including the moron in chief at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue - who think global warming either needs more study or is a hoax!
If January feels like April, April may feel like July - it has in fact gotten above ninety degrees Fahrenheit in New Jersey in April. And if that happens, how do you think July will feel?
