In a recent blog entry I identified my father as a registered Republican. Well, I stand corrected, as my father e-mailed me this morning to point out that he has been a registered Democrat since he cast his first ballot for John F. Kennedy in 1960. He adds that he has voted Republican on occasion (such as once for Ronald Reagan) but usually votes Democratic. He adds and that he couldn't vote Republican for the U.S. House even if he wanted to because he lives in a district where the Democratic House member usually runs in general elections unopposed.
I regret the error.
