Keith Ellison's Koran, Danny DeVito's Rant

Conservative bloggers are currently addressing an issue of vital unimportance. Keith Ellison, the Minnesota Democrat who became the first Muslim elected to Congress last month, says he plans to take the oath of office on a Koran, not a Bible. The right has been up and arms about this, calling Ellison's decision an affront to American values. Funny, I thought freedom of religion was an American value.
Meanwhile, Danny DeVito got plastered at a bar with George Clooney and appeared on ABC-TV's "The View," still drunk, and bashed George W. Bush - which many Republicans would probably do if you got a drink or two in them. Given DeVito's mainstream appeal, this should serve as a warning to Bush.
If he's lost DeVito, he's lost Middle America. :-D
