We have to do something about global warming. Twelve states and several environmental groups have sued the EPA to get the agency to recognize cardon dioxide as a pollutant and regulate it in accordance with the Clean Air Act, the case having just gone to the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, in New Jersey, I saw cherry blossoms blooming today, due to the abnormal springlike weather we've had in November!
Unless more of us give up our big SUV's and our big McMansions, cherry blossoms in the Northern Hemisphere in late November won't seem so abnormal to future generations. :-O
