The Food and Drug Administration finally approved the Plan B contraceptive pill, allowing it to be sold over the counter to women eighteen and older and to teenagers with a parental notice. Many right-wing nimrods think that making the pill easier to get will lead to greater sexual promiscuity. I don't think so. I think grown women have more sense than that. (When it comes to sex, it's usually grown men who have no sense.) Then there's the question of restricted access to teenage girls. I've noticed how supermarkets take cigarette sales seriously; they turn down minors, and they keep the cigarettes themselves under lock and key. If supermarkets are that thorough with cigarettes, imagine how pharmacies will dispense the Plan B pill.
So if you're a minor, you'd better not fool around.
