Well, well, I let the weekend go by with nary a comment. . . . So what did I do? Not much. I did go to the annual local street fair, where I heard some cool rock music, had a crab cake sandwich, and looked at some bric-a-brac. Yeah, I had a good time. :-)
Meanwhile, some good news just came through the wire. Tom DeLay just got indicted again! The Hammer has been hammered! :-D (By the way, what the heck is the letter "C" doing in the word "indict?")
So far, bipartisan reaction to the appointment of Harriet Miers to replace Sandra Day O'Connor on the Supreme Court has been generally favorable. Bear in mind, though, that Ms. Miers is a conservative female Texan. Just like Karen Hughes! :-O
