Remember late December, when it took George W. Bush three or four days to respond to, or even acknowledge, the tsunami? Well, after Monday's earthquake in the same area off the coast of Sumatra, it took a whole day for Bush to respond.
Wow! A quicker response! You did it , Mr. President - a personal best! :-D
With the tsunami-causing earthquake hitting the day after Christmas, and with the more recent one striking the day after Easter, it's a wonder Christian conservatives haven't publicly interpreted this as a sign from God that Indonesia's Muslim majority must convert to Christianity now.
Meanwhile, on an issue that caused a much faster response from Bush earlier this month. . . . Terri Schaivo just died. :-( As she died on March 31, it's fitting she went out like a lamb. But the media whores who will undoubtedly keep this story alive longer than Mrs. Schiavo will continue to roar like lions.
