Bush's Low Prospects

Oh yeah, before I get completely off track about the war . . .

Even as the United Nations has approved a plan for transferring sovereignty over Iraq to a new Iraqi provisional government, George W. Bush's approval rating currently stands at an embarrassing 43 percent. Still. And, as Mark Shields recently noted, no modern incumbent President with an approval rating that low this late in an election year has won a second term. If only I had someone to high-five right now! :-D
