Farewell, "Frasier"

"Frasier" ended its run with its series finale episode tonight. In it, Frasier let his girlfriend Charlotte (Laura Linney) move to Chicago, and he took a job in San Francisco. His father got married, and his brother Niles had his first child with his wife Daphne. At the beginning, Frasier started telling his story about his new life to a woman on a plane (played by Jennifer Beals of "Flashdance" fame), and at the end we learned that his plane was headed not for San Francisco, but for . . . Chicago. He was obviously trying to win back Charlotte. The last episode was as classy as the last episode of "Cheers," from which "Frasier" was spun off.
While we can imagine Frasier gettting together with Charlotte and settling with her in San Francisco, we might actually see something different. Kelsey Grammer has suggested that he might reprise his role as Dr. Frasier Crane for yet another series. Hey, why not? Given that every sitcom on now is pretty much going off the air - except for the bad ones - we need Grammer to keep us laughing! :-D
I don't know about the fate of "I'm With Her" yet.
