Cashing In On a Job Interview

So what did I do today? I went for a job interview, believe it or not!
I interviewed for a cashier's position of the tax department of Parsippany-Troy Hills, a suburban township near where I live. The work seems straightforward but challenging; I'd have to take in tax payments and reconcile them with stubs and receipts. It can get pretty hectic sometimes. The interviewer told me everything there is to know about the job, which made asking questions seem silly. I told him, though, about my experience as a cashier and about my skills in research from my previous jobs.
The pay is good, there are plenty of benefits, and you get a decent amount of time off. Will I get the job? I'll see.
