Lack of Interest

Terrific. I've been out of work for nearly half a year, I still haven't found a job, and now my bank is paying me only one percent interest on my savings account. Everyone loves low interest rates because it makes it easier to borrow money or refinance a mortgage or something like that, but what about those of us who prefer to save money rather than spend it? The whole thing reeks.
