Rumors have started that Gary Coleman - yes, the short kid on "Diff'rent Strokes" - is the latest celebrity nonpolitician considering a run for governor of California. This is getting so ridiculous. Anyone with a recognizable name, some extra cash, and sixty-five people to sign a petition can get in the race and get elected with ten percent of the vote if Gray Davis goes down. But then, none of these people are any less loony than Jerry Brown; heck, he once dated Linda Ronstadt!
It's going to be quite a ride.
