Maria Shriver, perhaps one of the most insufferable television newswomen in recent memory whose name isn't Connie Chung, says she's taking a leave of absence from her job at NBC. She feels that there would be a conflict of interest if her husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger, ran for governor of California and she stayed on at NBC, so she says she's taking time off from her journalistic duties.
What journalistic duties?
Also, while we're on the subject, would she even be on the air if her mother weren't a Kennedy? Or if her father weren't R. Sargent Shriver, for that matter?
