RIP Katharine Hepburn

One of Hollywood's greatest legends - and the most legendary actress Tinseltown has ever produced - died today at 96. Katharine Hepburn was an actress ahead of her time, having played characters who were real women (many of today's adult actresses seem to prefer playing girls); she always portrayed strong, liberated women, and long before feminism came along. The Philadelphia Story and On Golden Pond are my favorite movies featuring the great Kate, but you really can't go wrong with anything pairing her with Cary Grant or Spencer Tracy. She will be missed.
