Sorry if my recent postings have been dour, but I've been in a churlish mood, owing to the war, Bush, and the rotten weather we've been having in the American Northeast (a very rainy spring has made it damn hard for us to enjoy the great outdoors). Now that June is here and the weather might change, the war is over, and Bush may be headed for trouble on the domestic front, my mood might brighten. Hopefully I'll get to talk about favorite places like the Brandywine Valley, comment on the occasional movie, and offer more of my comments on posh birds like Carolyn Murphy and Portia de Rossi, as I started out doing on this weblog. I need some levity.
