After My Grandmother's Death . . .

Hello, one and all. It's been awhile, but I'm back. My mother and I have been taking care of my grandmother's affairs - my mother has mainly been handling the legal side - and we're slowly trying to get our lives back together after our loss.
Recently, though, I've had trouble getting my act together. Although we have my grandmother's affairs pretty much under control, everything else seems to be spinning out of control. I have so many errands to run today and not enough time to do them. I have to worry about sending Christmas cards, paying my bills. . . .And now there's a transit strike being threatened in New York, and such a strike could easily last well into January. Just what I need - I was planning to go into the city after the holidays to meet with a couple of women I'm writing separate articles about in my freelance writing gig . . ..
It's a wonder my head doesn't hurt.
