Dead Squirrel In the Middle Of the Room

Pretty chilly here in the East, but the leaves haven't turned yet, and October's more than half over! My mother and I are going to end up leaf-peeping sometime after Thanksgiving at this rate.
Strange things have been happening recently. I found a dead squirrel - you read right, boys and girls, a dead squirrel - in my dining room. Apparently it got through the front doorway a few days ago during a heavy rain, ate leaves from my mother's poinsettia plant, and died on account that poinsettia leaves are fatal to small animals who eat them. And so I went for a snow shovel to cart it out.
My new Web page - more of which later - has been restored, and I'm almost finished setting it up. The grand debut is in a few days, but this blog isn't going anywhere.
Gosh, what a week it's been!
