Wild, Wild West

Remember this picture, boys and girls?
It's a picture of Hillary Clinton posing for a selfie with noted professional celebrity Kim Kardashian, who was a big Hillary supporter during the campaign.  Ms. K. was so proud to pose with the person she thought would be the next President of the United States.  "I got my selfie!" she wrote when she released this photo on Twitter.  "I really loved hearing [Hillary] speak and hearing her goals for our country!"
And yes, there's Kanye West posing in the background, as if he were about to interrupt his wife and the candidate to make a statement about rap being the new rock and roll.  In addition to showing Hillary trying to look cool by palling around with celebrities, Kim's selfie suggested that both she and her husband were on board with the candidate.
Well, guess what - Kanye West has since admitted that he didn't vote, and that if he had, he would have voted for Donald Trump. And why not?  He has a lot in common with Trump.  He has a glamorous wife, he dismisses people not as successful as he is as losers, he lives large, and he doesn't know what he's talking about most of the time.
Oh yeah, he is still threatening to run for President in 2020, and his chances of becoming the 46th President are frighteningly good, now that Trump has been elected to the White House.  In the meantime, he went on a rant at a subsequent show bashing the media, pop radio, other hip-hop/R&B performers, and the like . . . and then walked off the stage after three "songs."
Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?
And on top of all that, he ended up canceling the rest of his tour and entered a hospital for a week or so for psychiatric observation.  He left the hospital this past Wednesday, remaining formally undiagnosed.
I think it's fair to say that Hillary has since learned a valuable lesson . . . palling around with celebs doesn't make you cool.  It may even backfire on you.

As I was saying . . . :-O
