The battle is won.
Yesterday, the Army Corps of Engineers went to Dave Archambault, chairman of Standing Rock Sioux Indians, that the current route for the Dakota Access pipeline is being denied and so the pipeline will have to be re-routed elsewhere . . . if it's built at all. This means that the Dakota Access pipeline will not go under the Missouri River, which serves as the drinking water for the Standing Rock Sioux.
The tide is turning. It means that the oppressed peoples of this country will not be pushed around any more. First gays, now the native peoples, next, blacks and Hispanics . . . plus a few other groups whose pursuit of happiness is threatened by the Republicans.
Watch out, Trump.
