The Pope's American Miracles

Pope Francis's American tour was a success.  Hey, how could it not be?  He made inroads for the Church in the United States and got people thinking and talking about abolishing the death penalty and tackling climate change.  He also encouraged Americans - a people he obviously loves, despite all our obvious flaws - to stop dividing ourselves along partisan and ethnic lines and work together.  He wants us to take care of ourselves and take care of each other, along with those who immigrate to this country.  After all, he's the son of an immigrant; his father immigrated to Argentina from Italy.  The pope's messages rankled and offended conservatives, and while it it had little effect on Catholic Republicans, it certainly had an effect on one Catholic Republican . . .
. . . as the Speaker of the House, John Boehner, quit after hearing the Pope's message!
He'd been wanting to quit, and Pope Francis somehow made him go ahead and do it?
This may be the first time a pope, by removing Boehner from Capitol Hill, has performed an exorcism on American soil. :-D
