My electricity did not go out on Tuesday night. The storms forecast were windy and rainy all right but nowhere nearly as bad as predicted. I'm getting tired of these weather forecasts that make a storm sound like a bigger deal than it already is. I repeat: One of these days, we'll get a storm worse than Sandy, the weather reports will play it up, and no one will believe them.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to keep my own energy going. I've been busy for the past week on a huge article I've been working on at the expense of practically everything else - including this blog. I've completed it . . . finally. Only now I feel like an overused battery.
