Murthy's Law

With the Ebola virus concentrating everyone's attention, you may be wondering what the Surgeon General is doing about it.

Uh, we don't actually have one now.

See, President Obama's choice for Surgeon General, Dr. Vivek Murthy, can't get a confirmation vote in the Senate.  Republicans are blocking him from getting one. Seems this fellow thinks guns are a health hazard.

Well, they are, but remember, Republicans, like many of the people in this oversized republic, are dumb. 

And when - not if, when  - the take over the Senate in January,. they'll bring Dr. Murthy up for a vote just so they can defeat him.

Gee, and you wonder why the rest of the planet thinks we Americans are morons.

Good luck not catching Ebola, eh?  Well, good night and sleep tight - don't let the bedbugs bite!

And we have plenty of those thanks to the lack of investment in our health infrastructure.
