In my piece from April 24 of this year about British singer Adele, I wrote that she is "the first woman to have had three singles in the Billboard Top Ten." Well, that's obviously misleading. I meant to say that she's the first woman to have had three singles in the Billboard Top Ten at the same time, so that should clear it up. She obviously couldn't have been in 2011 the first woman to have three singles in the Billboard Top Ten ever . . . although I can think of another single-named performer from this side of the Atlantic who's had far more Top Ten singles - and three was already too much!
Anyway, the error, which I deeply regret, has been corrected in the original post.
