Before The Flood

April showers once brought May flowers, which in turn brought Pilgrims. ;-)  Now they're bringing flood waters that necessitate an ark.
The National Weather Service is calling for a steady, relentless rain in northern New Jersey for tomorrow (April 30, 2014), which is expected to get very heavy overnight.  A unbroken chain of flood watches, in fact, has been posted from southern Connecticut all the way into Alabama.  We should be thankful that, while it will be chilly, it's no longer winter; if it were cold enough for snow, this would be one of those snowfalls forecasters refer to as "significant."
Meanwhile, in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee, tornadoes have been touching down like crazy, causing devastation and carnage wherever they go.  To those who aren't convinced that climate change is a problem, I have this to say:
Are you convinced now? :-O
