Don't you hate it when something unbearable that looks like it's finally ending is only just beginning?
No, I'm not talking about winter, although a snowstorm for my area this coming Monday is a becoming a distinct possibility. I'm talking about the fact that "Two And a Half Men" - which debuted in September 2003 - has just been renewed by CBS for a twelfth season! A twelfth season! That means it will not only still be on after "How I Met Your Mother," which is in its ninth and final season, is gone, but it will have run longer than "M*A*S*H," "Cheers" and "Frasier" - all sitcoms that lasted eleven seasons and are still examples of the gold standard for television comedy.
A St. Patrick's Day snowstorm won't seem so bad. At least snowstorms come and go. "Two And a Half Men" will always be with us. :-O
