As recently as early last night, when the Super Bowl was going on (oh? there was a football game?), my area was excepted to get just a little but of snow - not much, just enough to warrant a winter weather advisory. Eight inches of snow and one upgrade to a winter storm warning later, I'm still trying to recover from all the massive shoveling I had to do today before . . . the next storm tomorrow. While accumulations aren't expected to be as much (that's not to say they won't be), the precipitation will be not just snow but ice, sleet, rain . . . everything. That's not the kind of winter precipitation you can just literally toss aside. How do you shovel freezing rain? Even worse, how do you keep it from affecting the tree limbs and power lines???
And as if that weren't bad enough, that snow possible for the coming weekend may be a two-and-a-half-foot snowstorm after all. Even if the snow from that storm doesn't get blown all over the place, it will still qualify as a blizzard because of the massive amount that could fall.
Three strikes and we're out. Ugh, I can't wait for baseball season. But before that, we still have to get through March . . .
Double ugh. I have a lot on my plate this coming week. Don't expect a post from me until I change my Music Video Of the Week this Friday . . ..

Update: As noted in a comment on an earlier post, the blizzard didn't happen.
