The people of Minnesota have made their choice for U.S. Senator, and by 225 votes - 225 votes - out of three million cast - the winner is the Democrat - him, Al Franken.
Except that the incumbent Republican, Norm Coleman - not Al Franken - claims that the vote, though the count has been certified, has not been counted properly and plans to countersue keeping from the Senate him - Al Franken. He - Al Franken - will be barred from the Senate tomorrow until Coleman exhausts all of his options or just plain gives up. With so much momentum against him, though, I think it's time to give the Minnesota Senate seat to him . . .
Al Franken! :-D
